This beautiful old home was due for a spruce up and growing kids needed some space! Brod & Sacha wanted more room and why not when you own a boutique timber yard. Garde Timber supplied some of the most beautiful timber for this renovation and feature throughout.
Even though the house now boasts some modern facilities, much of the original flooring, joinery and walls were kept – most importantly the fireplace that is beyond words. The fully self-contained downstairs also includes a “Man Cave” at the end of the hall as well a large laundry.
Up the grand custom staircase into the open plan is a kitchen, living and deck area that overlooks the stunning pool area. Down the hall, much of the old house has become Sacha’s Walk in Robe and Master Suite that opens onto the front deck for a parent’s morning retreat.
The bright red door at the main entrance is such a beautiful contrast and is a real statement that grabs your attention immediately.
