Kennedy Terrace

Kennedy Terrace, Paddington

A humble workers cottage of yesteryear has been transformed into a split level home without the loss of any of its charm.

The house was located on a steep fall which the owners utilised well deciding on a dig out underneath to accommodate a lower level living area.

All the heritage features where carefully restored or recreated where some things where a little too far gone. As much of the original flooring as possible was kept as was the stunning front entrance.

The subtle modern kitchen does not take away from the beautiful sash, awning and bifold windows that open out onto the top level deck that boasts a gorgeous Art Deco tiled floor.

The lower level is self contained, with its own private deck and access out into the garden. The Art Deco tiles are continued on this level and are such a beautiful feature of this home as are all the stunning lighting fixtures. The addition of a quaint pitched roof carport is the perfect finish to this renovation.
